The Effley Falls Association is a loose and voluntary association of camp owners along the Effley and Soft Maple flows of the Beaver River. The purpose of the association is to discuss and address issues that concern the members of the association such as: the land, the water and water quality, the road, and relationships with other associations and organizations such as Brascan (the owner and operator of the damns along the Beaver River), FOLA and CSLAP.
Our association meets once a year, usually on the third Saturday in July. Dues are $10 per year, payable to Anne Eckelman. In previous years, funds have been used to test and monitor water quality, to erect te Effley Falls Association sign and gate, and for other community purposes.
In addition, dues for maintenance and occasional improvement of the Effley Dam Road are payable to Paul Rubado. These fees are assessed based on camp location along the Effley Dam Road and range from $10 to $25 per year. This money is used primarily for snowplowing during the winter and grading of the road if necessary.
The association welcomes new members. To join, simply send an email to one
